Solid Swim and Bike Effort Undone by a Tough Run Jacki opened her 2026 Spudman with a strong swim, exiting the water in the top 500 overall and top 10 in her division. She carried that momentum onto the bike, holding a steady pace of roughly 17 mph and even climbing to 411th overall through the opening bike splits her best position of the day. Transitions were quick and efficient, costing her less than four minutes each. The run proved to be the toughest leg, with her per-mile pace slipping into the 15-minute range over the back half and her overall position falling from 597th to 1004th by the finish. Compared to her 3:05:08 in 2024 and 3:18:14 in 2025, this year's 3:29:33 continues a trend of slower finishes, largely tied to the run. Building run endurance and pacing strategy could be a key focus heading into next season.
