Strong Swim and Bike Power Fuel a Solid Olympic Finish Cecilia closed out her third Spudman appearance in 3:55:24, sitting between her 2022 debut (4:25:32) and her 2025 personal best (3:34:33). She opened with a confident swim, exiting the water in the top third of her age group, and carried that momentum onto the bike, where she averaged roughly 13.7 mph overall including a strong middle segment near 14.6 mph over the back half of the ride. The run proved to be the toughest leg of the day, with her overall pace settling near 15:45 per mile, a noticeable step down from her cycling and swim efficiency. Given her clear strength on the bike, targeted run-off-the-bike training could help her close that gap and bring her closer to matching her 2025 form in future events.
