Powerful Bike Leg Sets Up Strong Olympic Finish Brittany Clark turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance at Spudman, anchored by a strong bike split. Covering the roughly 24.4-mile course in 1:44:04, she averaged about 14.1 mph, showing solid sustained power on two wheels. Her transitions were efficient, especially T2, where she was in and out in just 2:01, setting up her run with minimal lost time. On the run, Brittany opened strong with an 8:36 first mile before settling into a steadier rhythm in the 9:259:50 range as fatigue set in over the 6.2-mile course. She closed with a notable final kick, covering the last tenth of a mile at a blistering 3:07 pace, a great sign of finishing strength. Her swim (28:58) rounded out a balanced day across all three disciplines, reflecting fitness across the full triathlon spectrum.
