Steady Pacing and a Strong Bike Leg Highlight Solid Olympic Finish Shari Moulton delivered a well-balanced performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing in 3:23:21. Her bike leg stood out as the highlight of the day, averaging roughly 15.4 mph over nearly 25 miles, a pace that steadily moved her up through the fieldclimbing from 1,342nd place after the swim to 877th by the end of the bike leg. The run proved more of a grind, with her overall position settling near the mid-pack by the finish, ending 932nd overall and 211th among female finishers. Still, she showed good composure late in the race, closing with a strong final surge over the last quarter mile. With a strong cycling foundation already in place, sharpening run consistency could be a great focus for future races to complement her clear strength on the bike.
