Steady Pacing Fuels a Strong Sprint Finish Quincey Sharp turned in a well-rounded performance at this year's Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing 172nd overall out of 570 and 24th in the competitive 20-29 male division. After a solid swim, Quincey showed real strength on the bike, averaging roughly 13.7 mph and climbing as high as 55th overall by the bike's midpoint before settling into the transition. The run proved to be a key asset, where Quincey steadily worked through the field, moving from 141st to 100th in the men's field by the finish line. This consistent late-race surge highlights strong endurance and smart pacing. Looking ahead, tightening up transition timesparticularly T1could shave valuable seconds and further improve overall placement in future races.
