Race Recap powered by Laurel Intelligence

Date: July 25, 2026 Participant: Kennedi Campbell #2033 Race: 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon Event: Olympic Triathlon Weather: Hot, but otherwise a great day for a triathlon.

A Strong Bike Leg Anchors a First Olympic-Distance Finish Stepping up from two prior Sprint finishes at Spudman (2023 and 2025), Kennedi tackled her first Olympic-distance race here in 2026. The bike leg was clearly her strength she averaged around 12.8 mph across the course, even hitting a stretch near 14.3 mph, showing real power on two wheels. Both transitions were tight and efficient, helping her carry momentum from the swim into the bike and again into the run. The run proved to be the tougher half of the day, with mile splits settling into the high-16 to 18-minute range as fatigue built over the 10K. That's a clear area to target in training as she looks ahead to future Olympic-distance starts building run durability to match the strength she's already shown on the bike. A solid first outing at the longer distance overall.
