A Solid All-Around Finish with a Standout Bike Leg Ryan Hansen completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 1:50:55, placing 164th overall out of 570 and 98th among men. His bike leg was a clear highlight, holding a strong pace of roughly 15.8 mph over the course, a segment where he moved up significantly in the field standings. His second transition was also crisp, showing sharp execution heading into the run. Compared to his previous two appearances at Spudman, this result came in slightly behind his personal best of 1:38:04 set in 2025, as well as his 2023 finish of 1:47:01. The swim and first transition offer areas where time could be gained back, as his position dropped noticeably after the water. Overall, this race reflects a consistent competitor at Spudman, and refining swim-to-bike efficiency could help push him back toward his 2025 form.
