Strong Bike and Run Splits Power a Top-100 Olympic Finish Jordan turned in a strong all-around performance at this year's Olympic distance race, finishing 102nd overall out of 1,987 athletes and 15th in a stacked 35-39 age group. The bike leg was the standout, with Jordan averaging nearly 19 mph over the course and climbing from 421st after the swim into the top 150 by the dismount line. From there, a steady run in the 7:50-per-mile range helped him move up more than 100 spots to close out the race inside the top 100 overall. This result extends a solid multi-year trend at this race, improving on both the 2022 and 2023 finishes, though finishing a bit behind personal bests set in 2024 and 2025. The swim was the one segment where time was left on the table relative to the rest of the field, but the bike-run combination continues to be a clear strength, and tightening up the swim could be the next step toward closing the gap to those recent best times.
