Steady Bike Power Fuels a Resilient Olympic Finish Angie McKee crossed the line in 3:26:51 at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing 227th among 1987 female competitors. Her bike leg was the highlight of the day cruising at roughly 15.9 mph over the course, she moved up significantly in the standings, climbing to 146th in her gender by the end of the ride. The swim (25:23) and quick transitions, including a snappy 2:46 T2, kept her in solid position heading onto the run. The run proved tougher, with per-mile pace climbing steadily from 11:30 to over 14:00 in the closing miles before a strong final push. Compared to her personal Spudman history, this result trails her breakout 3:02:05 performance in 2025, suggesting run endurance late in the Olympic distance could be a focus area for reclaiming that form.
