Strong Bike Leg Anchors a Determined Olympic Finish Hallie completed the Olympic-distance course in 3:33:32, showing particular strength on the bike. Averaging roughly 15 mph over the 24-mile ride, she surged during one stretch to nearly 18.6 mph, a clear high point of her day. The swim was steady, and a shift into the run leg came with a bit more time spent in transition than ideal, an area worth tightening up for future races. The run settled into a consistent rhythm, holding just under a 12:30 per mile pace across the closing miles. Compared to her 2025 Spudman finish of 3:09:25, this years time was slower by about 24 minutes, suggesting there may be room to rebuild toward that previous pacing standard, especially through transitions and the run split. Her cycling performance remains a clear strength to build from heading into future events.
