Strong Bike Leg Anchors a Steady Olympic Finish Annie Flint completed the Olympic Triathlon in 3:35:34, finishing 273rd among 1,987 women and 40th in her 30-34 division. Her swim brought her out of the water in just over 30 minutes, setting up a bike leg that stood out as the highlight of her day averaging roughly 15.7 mph over nearly 19 miles, a pace that moved her up into the top 300 in her gender field by the bike's end. The run proved more challenging, with her pace gradually easing from the mid-10-minute range early on to the 12-14 minute range over the closing miles. Given the strength of her bike split, Annie may find value in building run durability off the bike to carry that momentum through to the finish line. Solid transitions rounded out a well-executed race overall.
