Fast Swim Sets the Tone for a Well-Paced Olympic Debut Alisa Baker turned in a standout swim leg, climbing to 165th overall and 25th among women (6th in her division) after entering the water outside the top 1,000 a strong statement in the Snake River current. She carried that momentum onto the bike, holding roughly 14.3 mph overall and even cracking the top 34 in her division through the first 14 miles before settling into a steadier rhythm over the back half of the ride. Transitions were crisp, with T1 in 4:38 and T2 in just 2:41. The run settled into a consistent 11:3011:45 per mile rhythm across all four run splits, showing solid pacing control after two demanding legs. Baker crossed the line in 3:20:28, finishing 878th overall, 187th among women, and 23rd in the competitive 3034 division a well-rounded performance anchored by an excellent swim.
