Steady Bike Power Fuels a Balanced Olympic Debut Jared Bradshaw turned in a well-rounded performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing in 3:28:45. His bike leg stood out, averaging just over 16 mph across the course, a segment where he consistently moved up through the field, climbing from outside the top 900 to inside the top 500 at one point before settling into the transition. The run showed grit over its 6.2 miles, holding a strong closing kick with a sub-4:30 pace in the final stretch despite some fade through the middle miles. Swim and transitions were solid, keeping him well-positioned entering the bike. Overall, Jared placed 116th in the competitive 35-39 age group. Building more consistent pacing in the back half of the run could be the next step toward sharpening his overall time in future Olympic-distance events.
