Run Surge Powers Podium Finish David Fisher delivered a strong all-around performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing 3rd overall out of 570 athletes and 2nd in the Male 1-19 division. After exiting the water in the top 25, David used a swift transition to move into the top 10 on the bike, averaging roughly 17.6 mph over the bike leg. The real story was his run: he split into 1st place overall during the third run segment, ultimately holding onto 3rd overall and 3rd among men at the finish. Compared to his 2025 Spudman sprint result, David's overall and gender placements improved this year (3rd overall vs. 5th, 3rd male vs. 4th), even with a slightly longer finish time. His swim pace was consistent with prior efforts, suggesting an area to target for future gains as his bike and run continue to sharpen.
