Bike Strength Fuels a Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Walker Lansbarkis turned in a well-rounded performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing 673rd overall out of 1,987 and 79th in the competitive 30-34 age group. His swim leg set a solid foundation, moving him into the top half of the field before a strong transition into the bike course. The bike segment was clearly his standout effort, where he averaged roughly 16.15 mph and climbed as high as 289th overall at one point, a significant jump from his post-swim positioning. This surge on the bike demonstrated real strength and control over the terrain.
