Strong Late-Race Run Surge Fuels Solid Sprint Finish Kaitlin Holman completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:14:12, finishing 340th overall and 172nd among women. Her bike leg stood out, covering the course at an average of roughly 14.8 mph, with a standout mid-ride surgeher second bike split saw her climb to 21st in her division and 80th among all women, a clear high point of her ride. On the run, Kaitlin found another gear during the third segment, clocking an 11:53 pace that vaulted her to 9th in her 30-39 division and 33rd among female finishersher best relative performance of the day. Her transitions were efficient bookends to a well-rounded effort. Building more consistency across the full run split could help her carry that mid-race intensity through to the finish line in future races.
