Solid Sprint Pace Anchored by a Strong Bike Leg Kevin Duran completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:14:23, finishing 171st among men and 14th in the competitive 60-69 age group. His swim came in at 22:13, setting a steady foundation before transitioning onto the bike course, where he averaged roughly 14.4 mph over 13.17 miles a strong, consistent effort that moved him up several spots in the standings by the bike dismount. The run leg covered just over three miles in 40:29, holding a steady rhythm through the finish, including a strong closing kick over the final tenth of a mile. One area worth tightening up is T1, which took 10:54 notably longer than his other transition (T2 at 5:50). Shaving time off that first transition could translate directly into a faster overall finish next time out.
