Steady Pacing Fuels Strong Bike Split and Solid Olympic Finish Sydney turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, highlighted by a strong bike leg. Averaging roughly 14.8 mph over the 24-plus mile ride, she found her best rhythm mid-course, hitting a blistering stretch near mile 19 at over 16 mph. That surge helped her climb from 957th to 730th overall by the end of the bike segment, showing she used the ride to make up real ground. Coming off the bike, Sydney maintained composure through T2 and settled into a run pace hovering around 9:5510:10 per mile for most of the course, finishing with a strong final kickher last quarter mile clocked in near 7:24 pace. She finished 155th among 883 women and 18th in her competitive 25-29 division, a solid result built on a balanced effort across all three disciplines. Sharpening transition efficiency could shave a bit more off her overall time in future races.
