Strong Run Surge Highlights a Well-Rounded Sprint Effort Brenner posted a 2:16:43 finish, placing 34th in a competitive 15-19 age division. His swim split of 22:13 was solid, and he transitioned into a bike leg where he averaged roughly 12.8 mph over the course, showing steady power output throughout the ride. Both transitions were efficient, keeping his overall momentum intact heading into the run. The run proved to be a highlight of the race during one stretch (elapsed mile 14.78), Brenner surged to 8th in his division and 48th overall, showcasing a strong mid-run pace of 12:19/mile. While his overall run pace settled around 12:29/mile, that mid-race push demonstrates real strength and potential for even more consistent pacing across the entire run leg in future races.
