Strong Swim and Bike Set Up a Hard-Fought Finish Ashley Stowell completed the Olympic distance at the 2026 Spudman Triathlon in 3:51:54. She came out of the water in 26:59, showing solid swim fitness, though her T1 split of 15:16 was notably long and offers a clear area to trim time in future races. On the bike, Ashley found her rhythm, holding paces as quick as 3:203:31 per mile through the middle miles and finishing the 24-mile bike leg averaging roughly 16 mph a strong, steady bike showing. The run leg proved more challenging, with her pace settling into the 14:0016:00 min/mile range over the second half of the run, a noticeable drop-off from her bike strength. T2 was efficient at 6:52. With her swim-bike combination already a strength, focused run training particularly pacing strategy off the bike could be the biggest lever for Ashley to lower her overall finishing time in future Olympic-distance events.
