Steady Effort Across the Distances Marks Another Season on the Course Kelly Allen, competing in the 70+ age group, completed the sprint triathlon in 2:22:45, finishing 376th overall out of 570 participants and 7th in his division. His bike leg covered roughly 12.45 miles in 53:24, translating to an average speed of about 14 mph a solid, steady pace on two wheels. Transitions were efficient, with T1 in 7:17 and T2 in 6:06, helping keep overall flow between disciplines smooth. Looking at Kellys Spudman history, this years time is a bit longer than his previous four appearances (2:05:44 in 2022, 2:10:03 in 2023, 2:09:25 in 2024, and 2:16:34 in 2025), reflecting the natural progression of racing into a new age division.
