A Fast-Water Swim Fuels a Well-Rounded Olympic Debut Isaac Abe, just 13 years old and racing out of Nampa, Idaho, turned in an impressive all-around performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon. His swim was the standout of the day, ranking 43rd overall and 36th among all male finishers a strong showing that set the tone for the rest of his race. He carried that momentum onto the bike, averaging right around 17 mph over the course, before settling into a steady run to close things out. Finishing 216th overall out of 1,987 participants and 5th in the Non-Competitive division, Isaac showed the kind of composure and pacing that goes a long way in the longer Olympic-distance format. With a strong swim foundation already in place, continuing to build bike and run endurance will help him close the gap even further between his split placements as he keeps developing as a triathlete.
