A Steady Swim Leads to a Tougher Back Half Cheryl completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:58:51. Her swim was a bright spot, clocking 24:56 and landing her 215th among women in that segment. After a 10:51 T1, she moved onto the bike course, covering the 24-plus mile ride at an average of roughly 14.1 mph before a brisk 5:16 T2. The run split told a different story, with her pace easing steadily over the final miles en route to a 1:34:12 finish. This overall time is a marked shift from her previous two Spudman results3:00:31 in 2024 and 3:00:04 in 2025suggesting today simply wasn't her fastest day out. Her swim consistency stands out across all three appearances, and rebuilding run strength late in the race could be a worthwhile focus heading into future training cycles.
