Consistent Effort Across the Course Highlights a Multi-Year Return to Spudman Jeff Wilcox finished the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:50:25, placing 322nd overall out of 1,987 finishers and 9th in the 40+ Clydesdale division. His bike leg was a strong point, covering the course at roughly 19.8 mph, while his run split showed steady pacing around 9:36 per mile. Transitions were efficient, with T1 in 4:27 and T2 in just 2:44, helping him move smoothly between disciplines. This marks Jeffs fourth Spudman appearance, following finishes of 2:38:38 in 2022, 2:35:08 in 2023, and 2:38:23 in 2024. While his division placement of 9th is a bit lower than his 3rd-place finish in 2023, his overall time this year reflects a continued commitment to the race. Sharpening swim pace could help shave a few minutes off future results, building on the strong bike and run consistency hes shown across multiple years at Spudman.
