Steady Climb Through the Field Highlights a Strong All-Around Effort Jack Jensen turned in a well-rounded performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing 89th overall out of 570 and 12th in the 1-19 Male division. After exiting the water in 250th place, Jack made significant progress on the bike leg, riding at a strong pace of roughly 15.5 mph to move up into the mid-100s overall. That bike effort set the tone for an even more impressive run, where he surged into the top 40 overall at one point during the run split, showcasing solid closing speed after two demanding disciplines. This steady improvement across each legswim, bike, and runreflects strong pacing and endurance management. Given the leap from 250th after the swim to a top-90 finish, Jack could look at ways to gain more ground early, particularly in the water, to build on this well-executed race.
