Steady Effort Highlighted by a Strong Bike Leg Rachel Huntsman completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:48:58, finishing 326th among 1987 female competitors. Her swim came in at 30:26, followed by a 6:48 T1. On the bike, she covered the course in 1:54:30, translating to roughly 12.2 mph, with a notably strong mid-ride segment where her pace dipped to about 4:15 per mile (nearly 14 mph)a clear high point in her race. After a 5:46 T2, Rachel closed with a 1:11:31 run. Her early run pace hovered near 10:21 per mile before settling into the 1112 minute range over the final miles. Overall, her race reflected a well-rounded effort, with the bike leg standing out as her strongest segment. Building run endurance to sustain her early pace could be a good focus for future training blocks.
