Consistent Pacing Anchors a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Savanna Blaylock completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:23:00, placing 925th overall among 1,987 finishers and 208th in the women's field. She came out of the Snake River swim in 23:04, then logged a strong bike leg of 1:38:59 averaging close to 14.8 mph over roughly 24 miles. Her run split of 1:14:19 held a steady pace near 12:00 per mile across the closing 6.2 miles, showing solid endurance management late in the race. This performance builds on her 2025 Spudman Sprint Triathlon finish, where she placed 167th overall in 1:47:56. Stepping up to the Olympic distance, Savanna maintained comparable composure across a longer course. One area worth examining is the 4:30 T1 split, notably longer than her 2:11 T2 tightening that swim-to-bike transition could shave meaningful time off future results.
