Consistent Bike Pace Anchors a Determined Finish Dustin Tucker completed his third Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing in American Fork's contingent with a time that closely mirrored his previous year's effort. His bike leg stood out, averaging approximately 14.8 mph across the course, a pace he maintained steadily through the middle miles before a strong closing surge into T2. Compared to his 2022 Spudman finish, this year's overall time reflects a slower pace across the board, particularly on the run, where his splits lengthened noticeably in the closing miles. The swim and transitions remained fairly consistent with his 2025 outing, suggesting a repeatable routine in the water and through the changeovers. Looking ahead, Dustin may find gains by focusing on run endurance training, as maintaining bike-leg strength through the final run segment could help him approach the pace he showed in 2022.
