Efficient Transitions and a Standout Bike Leg Highlight a Strong Olympic-Distance Effort Devan Tucker, 16, of American Fork, UT, completed the Olympic Triathlon in 3:05:03, finishing among nearly 2,000 participants. He came out of the Snake River swim in 26:05 before moving briskly through T1 in just 4:30 to start the bike leg. On the bike, Tucker averaged roughly 16 mph over the course, with one standout segment (B5) clocking a blazing 3:16 per mile split his fastest stretch of the day. He was efficient again in T2, transitioning in just over two minutes before heading out on the run. His run pace ranged from 8:31 to 10:20 per mile, holding steady with a strong closing kick to the finish line. For a 16-year-old racing at the Olympic distance, this was a well-executed, balanced performance across all three disciplines.
