Consistent Cycling Effort Undercut by a Fading Run Bleu Huxford completed the Olympic-distance Spudman in 3:04:21, placing 596th overall out of 1,987 finishers and 75th in the men's 30-34 division. The swim was efficient at 22:09, leading into a bike leg that averaged an impressive 18.3 mph and stayed remarkably steady, with mile splits mostly between 3:00 and 4:00 per mile across the rolling course. The run leg showed clear fatigue as the race progressedstarting strong at an 11:08 pace before steadily slipping to 13:35 by mile 30. This overall time was about four to eight minutes slower than his last two Spudman finishes (2:59:50 in 2024 and 2:56:08 in 2025), suggesting that building late-race run durability could help him close that gap and match his recent personal bests.
