Steady Swim and Bike Effort Undone by a Fading Run Dalton opened his race with a strong swim, finishing in the top 7% of the field and 11th in his division, showing his water speed remains a real asset. T1 was crisp, and he carried that momentum onto the bike, averaging roughly 14.8 mph to move up into the 190s overall by the dismountan encouraging sign of consistent effort on two wheels. The run, however, told a different story. After a solid start near 9:25 pace, his splits steadily slipped into the 10:4511:20 range over the closing miles, dropping him from 221st to 343rd overall by the finish. This marks his slowest Spudman showing since 2022, suggesting his run fitnessonce his strongest legcould use renewed focus heading into next season.
