Steady Pacing Highlights a Solid Sprint Debut Jessica Olson turned in a well-rounded performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, highlighted by a strong swim leg where she moved into the top 25% of her age group early on. She carried that momentum into the bike course, holding a steady pace of roughly 12 mph over the 11.4-mile ride, a solid effort that kept her within striking distance of the front of her division. Her run settled into a consistent rhythm, holding close to 14:15 per mile through the final miles to the finish. Olson crossed the line in 2:15:04, placing 41st in her 20-29 age group. Tightening up her transition times, particularly T1, could help her shave a few extra minutes off her overall result in future races.
