Consistent Pacing With Room to Build Bike Speed Candice completed the Sprint Triathlon in 2:08:01, finishing 302nd overall and 151st among women. Her swim exit came in with a respectable transition into the bike, and T1 stood out as a strengthranking 19th in her division, a sign of sharp preparation and quick gear changes. On the bike, she averaged just under 11.7 mph over the 11.3-mile course, a split that trailed her overall field placement and offers a clear focus area for future training blocks. Compared to her 2024 Spudman finish of 1:59:59, this year's time was about eight minutes slower, with her overall pace shifting from 7:20 to 7:49 per mile. The run leg settled into a steady rhythm near 12:0012:50 per mile before a strong closing split. Building bike power and carrying more run speed from the start could help her close the gap on last year's result.
