Bike Power Drives a Season-Best Division Finish Brad Larsen turned in one of his most complete rides yet at Spudman, averaging nearly 18.6 mph on the bike and stringing together several segments under 3:10 min/mile pace. That strength on two wheels helped propel him to his best age-group finish across his last four appearances here 26th in the 45-49 division, an improvement over 42nd in 2025 and 34th in 2024. His overall time of 2:55:36 was off his personal bests from 2023 (2:48:40) and 2024 (2:37:21), but still represented a jump up the leaderboard from last year, landing 406th overall among 1,987 finishers. The run told a tougher story, opening with a solid 9:18 mile before fading to an 11:36 pace by the final miles a stretch worth targeting as he works to finish as strong as he starts.
