Bike Strength Fuels a Career-Best Placement Chris turned in a 22:00 swim, exiting in 416th overall before a brisk 3:01 T1 moved him into the top 260. The bike was the standout leg, averaging roughly 18.1 mph and climbing as high as 147th overall by mile nine, before closing out the 24.4-mile ride in 1:21:04. A quick 1:50 T2 kept the momentum going into a 55:08 run, sealing a 2:43:00 finish good for 207th overall, 179th among men, and 31st in the 35-39 division out of nearly 2,000 finishers. Though slightly slower than his 2:39:16 (2023) and 2:41:01 (2024) times, this result marks his best overall placement yet, improving by more than 140 spots compared to his previous top finish.
