Steady Pacing Across All Three Disciplines Anchors a Solid Finish Rebecca Cardon completed the sprint triathlon in 2:19:42, finishing 366th overall and 185th among female competitors. Her swim leg covered 0.61 miles in 22:50, transitioning into a bike course where she averaged roughly 11.5 mph over 12.45 miles. A standout stretch came between miles 9 and 12 of the bike, where she clocked a strong 4:07/mile pace, climbing over 40 overall positions during that segment alone. Her run leg spanned just over three miles, settling into a pace in the 13-14 minute per mile range for the majority of the course. Transitions were efficient, with T1 completed in 6:16 and T2 in a brisk 2:51. Cardon placed 35th in the Female 40-49 Sprint division. Looking ahead, sharpening run pacing in the closing miles could help her convert strong bike positioning into gains on the run course as well.
