Consistent Run Splits Anchor a Well-Paced Finish Clint Todd, 70, of Holladay, UT, completed the Olympic distance in 3:22:13, finishing 914th overall among 1,987 participants and 713th in the men's field. His swim came in at 25:17, followed by a bike leg that saw him average roughly 15.1 mph over nearly 24.4 miles a segment where he climbed as high as 526th overall during the middle portion of the ride before settling into the field by the bike finish. The run was where Clint showed his consistency, holding a steady rhythm between 9:11 and 9:49 per mile across all four run splits, finishing the 6.2-mile leg in 58:47. T1 came in at 13:17, notably longer than his T2 of 7:43 a gap worth examining for future races. Overall, a well-executed bike-run combination highlighted this performance.
