Consistent Bike Power Anchors a Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Joshua completed the Olympic-distance course in 2:48:23, highlighted by a strong 18.6 mph average bike pace. A standout stretch came between miles 8.814.4, where he clocked roughly 21.3 mph, moving into the top 60 overall at that point in the race. His run also showed encouraging progression, with mile splits tightening from an 11:03 opening mile to 9:33 by mile 30, reflecting solid pacing discipline as fatigue set in. For future races, tightening transition times could yield free speedhis 5:16 T1 was on the longer side compared to his T2 of 2:34. Given his clear bike strength, working on quicker transitions and a faster start to the run could help him carry more of that bike momentum into the run split.
