Solid Swim Leg, Steady Bike, Determined Run to the Finish Savannah opened her Olympic-distance race with a strong 29:34 swim, exiting the water in the top third of the field before a lengthy 14:17 first transition. On the bike, she settled into a steady rhythm, covering the course at an average of roughly 12.7 mph over 1:55:13, showing good consistency across the ride segments. The run proved to be the toughest stretch of the day, with a 1:42:00 split that reflected a physically demanding close to the race. A quick 7:51 second transition helped keep momentum heading onto the course. Savannah crossed the finish line in 4:28:53, placing 434th among women in a competitive field of nearly 2,000 athletes. Tightening up the T1 transition time could be a good focus for future races, as it offers a clear opportunity to shave minutes off the overall result.
