Strong Bike Surge Highlights a Steady Sprint Finish Brittney opened with a solid 0.61-mile swim before transitioning into the bike leg, where she averaged roughly 12.8 mph over the course. A standout stretch came early in the rideher split through the second timing point ranked her 1st in her 40-49 division at that moment, a clear sign of strong power on that section. She lost some ground over the remaining miles, settling into 18th in her division by the bike finish, but her overall placement of 236th out of 570 shows a well-rounded effort. The run leg rounded out her day at a consistent pace, closing out a race that saw her finish 114th among female competitors. With such a promising early bike surge, focusing on maintaining that intensity through the back half of the ride could help her close the gap in future events.
