Fastest Finish Yet Caps a Multi-Year Climb Benjamin Head turned in his strongest Spudman performance to date, finishing in 2:43:10 nearly 43 minutes faster than his 2023 result and over 10 minutes quicker than his previous best in 2025. He placed 6th in the 40+ Clydesdale division and cracked the top 200 overall for the first time. His swim stood out as a high point, landing him 121st overall exiting the water, a clear sign of steady progress in that discipline over the years. On the bike, Benjamin averaged just under 17.8 mph, maintaining consistent pacing across the course with several strong intervals in the mid-to-late miles. His run held steady in the 9:0010:30/mile range, closing out the race with a strong final surge. Each phase of this race reflects continued year-over-year growth, and this result marks his most complete and well-rounded Spudman outing yet.
