Steady Swim Speed Fuels a Strong Bike Leg to the Finish Ariel Dansie opened her Olympic-distance race with a swift swim, landing in the top 165 among female finishers exiting the water. She carried that momentum onto the bike, holding a solid pace of roughly 15.7 mph across the course and climbing into the top 330 in her gender for that leg. Her bike splits were consistent throughout, showing steady effort from start to finish rather than fading in the later miles. Transition one proved lengthy and stands out as an area to tighten up in future races, as it slowed her overall positioning heading onto the bike. She responded well on the run, settling into a steady rhythm to close out the race in 3:41:04. Finishing 45th in her 35-39 age division and 298th among 1,987 participants overall, Ariel showed balanced fitness across all three disciplines with clear potential to shave time in transitions.
