Strong Swim Leads the Way in a Well-Paced Olympic Finish Corbin opened with a standout swim, clocking 19:05 to place 83rd overall and 7th in his 50-54 age group a clear strength to build around. The transition into the bike (T1: 7:02) cost some ground, but he settled into a solid rhythm on the bike course, averaging roughly 16.5 mph over the 24.4-mile ride and holding a top-15 divisional position through the midpoint of the leg. The run proved to be the toughest stretch, with pacing gradually settling into the 9:3010:30 per mile range over the 6.2-mile course, ultimately finishing 26th in his division. Overall, a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance highlighted by an excellent swim the run split suggests an area where added endurance work could help him close out future races even stronger.
