Bike Speed Highlights a Hard-Fought Endurance Test Skyler Jensen turned in a strong swim leg, exiting the water in a time that placed him inside the top third of the men's field. He carried that momentum onto the bike, surging into the top 150 overall through the first two bike splits and holding an average speed near 15.5 mph across the full 23-mile ride a clear strength in this race. Transitions were crisp, with T1 and T2 combining for under seven minutes total. The run proved tougher, with pacing settling into the 11-12 minute/mile range over the final miles, contributing to a finishing time of 3:14:45. This marks his fifth Spudman finish, and while it's his slowest of the five (previous times ranged from 2:59:54 to 3:06:02), the early bike execution stands out as a season highlight worth building on for next year.
