Strong Bike Split Fuels Steady Endurance Race Richy Foote turned in a well-paced Olympic-distance performance, anchored by a bike leg that averaged roughly 16 mph over the course. His strongest surge came in the back half of the ride, where he moved up significantly in the standings, climbing from outside the top 800 to 637th overall by the bike dismount a clear sign of building strength as the ride progressed. The run began with a smooth transition and an opening mile near 10:04, though the pace gradually eased through the back stretch, settling into the mid-12-minute range by the final miles. Swim and transition times were efficient and didnt cost him meaningful placement.
