Strong Swim Start Fuels a Solid All-Around Sprint Finish Anne Williams put together a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance, highlighted by a swift swim leg that had her sitting inside the top 20 women exiting the water. She carried that momentum onto the bike, holding a strong pace of roughly 16.6 mph over the 13.17-mile ride, a segment where she climbed several spots in the overall standings and briefly cracked the top 20 among women. The run proved to be the toughest of the three disciplines relative to her swim and bike efforts, as her position dipped slightly across the final miles. Transitions were efficient, with a quick T1 keeping the momentum from the water onto the bike. Overall, Anne finished 42nd among 570 women, capping a race defined by a fast swim and a steady, powerful ride.
