Strong Bike Leg Powers Steady Olympic-Distance Finish Glen closed out the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:39:41, finishing 7th in the Men's 60-64 division and continuing a consistent pattern of low 2:30s-to-2:40s finishes over his past four appearances at this race. His swim came in at 21:58, followed by a quick 3:08 transition. The bike leg was the standout segment, covering 24.39 miles in 1:12:36 an average of just over 20 mph good for 7th in his division and 122nd among all men on that split. After a tougher 2025 outing that saw a nearly four-hour finish, Glen rebounded well this year, landing right back in line with his 2022-2024 results. The run split of 59:40 rounded out a balanced effort, and his overall time of 2:39:41 was nearly identical to his 2:40:01 finish in 2022. A slightly faster transition out of the water or a touch more speed on the run could help shave a few more minutes off future results.
