Strong Bike Split Fuels Top-10 Age Group Finish Dalton Green turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, finishing 7th in the competitive 1-19 Solo Male division. His swim came in at 23:50, followed by a smooth transition into a bike leg where he averaged roughly 17.5 mph over the 24-mile course with several stretches, like the section from mile 19 to 22.9, hitting speeds close to 19 mph, showing real strength on two wheels. Off the bike, Dalton settled into a run pace of about 9:00/mile, opening with a sharp 8:19 first mile before holding steady through the final six miles. Consistent pacing on the run, combined with his standout bike speed, rounded out a well-executed race and a top-10 age group result.
