Consistent Effort Across All Three Disciplines Fuels a Strong Age-Group Finish Trevan MacArthur turned in a well-rounded performance at the Spudman Olympic Triathlon, crossing the line in 3:00:06. That effort was good enough for 7th in the competitive 65-69 age group and 408th among all men in a field of nearly 2,000 finishers. The bike leg stood out as a real strength Trevan covered the roughly 24-mile course at an average of about 17 mph, and at one point during the ride he was sitting in 1st place within his division. He settled into 7th by the finish, but that early move showed real horsepower on two wheels. The swim and run legs were steady and workmanlike, helping him maintain a top-10 age-group position through T1 and into the finish chute, capping off a smart, evenly-executed race from start to finish.
