Division Champion Delivers a Strong All-Around Olympic Performance Caitlin Loertscher turned in a well-rounded effort at the Olympic distance, finishing 4th among all women and winning her 40-44 age group outright. She was consistently near the front throughout the race, holding a top-15 female position out of the water and never dropping outside the top 12 in her class at any point on course. Her bike leg was a highlight, averaging roughly 19.4 mph over the ride and climbing from 14th to 10th among women by T2. She backed that up with a steady run, holding 4th place among women through the finish. With quick transitions and no major time lost anywhere, this was a clean, well-executed race from start to finish.
